Students will record their inspirations in their sketchbooks or digital tools. There will be two classroom workshops, some with guest artists. A final project – video or printed booklet, will be due at the end of class.

The first class will meet at Syracuse University‘s Joseph I. Lubin House, 11 East 61st Street  in New York City.
Some outings will include the American Museum of Natural History, The Center for Book Art, Scholastic Books, Artist studios, Metropolitan Museum of Art, Central Park, The High Line, MTA art collection, Sketchbook at Brooklyn Library, Brooklyn Botanical garden, South Street Seaport, Coney Island, Ground Zero memorial and a few live summer concerts.
